What We Like

  • Seven bodysuits for under $25 is genuinely hard to beat
  • Lap shoulders let you pull it DOWN over the body during blowouts
  • Cotton is soft and gets softer with each wash
  • Snap closure at the crotch actually stays snapped
  • Cute mix of prints and solids in each pack

What Could Be Better

  • Not organic cotton, if that matters to you
  • Sizing is inconsistent between prints in the same pack sometimes
  • White ones stain easily (but that's every white baby item ever)

Safety Notes

Made from 100% cotton, free from formaldehyde and AZO-free dyes. Machine washable. Check snap closures for security before each wear.

Buying Guide Notes

Buy 2-3 packs in the same size and one in the next size up. Babies grow fast and you don't want to be caught without onesies at 2am when the last clean one got hit with a blowout. Gerber makes a similar value pack. If you want organic, Burt's Bees bodysuits cost about 2x more per piece.

Full Review

You don't need fancy onesies. You need a lot of onesies. The Hudson Baby 7-pack is what we tell every new parent to throw on their registry because you'll go through these like tissues. The cotton is surprisingly soft for the price, the lap shoulders make them easy to pull down over the body (instead of over the head) when there's a blowout up the back. And trust me, pulling a poop-covered onesie over your baby's head is a rite of passage you want to skip when possible. The snap closure at the crotch stays closed, which sounds like a low bar but some brands can't even manage that. Seven bodysuits means you can get through almost a full week before laundry day, though realistically you'll do baby laundry every 3 days anyway. They come in cute prints and solid colors.
