It opens wide like a diaper-changing station, so you can do a full diaper change without removing the sleep bag at all. At 2am, this is a gift from the parenting gods. You unzip, change, rezip, and baby barely wakes up. The fabric is a bamboo viscose blend that's softer than cotton and does a better job with moisture.
