What We Like

  • Included bassinet is approved for overnight sleep, usable from birth
  • Converts to double stroller with add-on seat or piggyback board
  • Actually one-handed fold that works in real life, not just demos
  • All-wheel suspension handles rough terrain without waking a sleeping baby
  • Enormous underseat basket fits a full diaper bag and a grocery run

What Could Be Better

  • The price is genuinely hard to justify on a tight budget
  • It's heavy at 27 lbs, so not ideal if you're lifting it into a small car trunk daily
  • The double configuration makes it quite long and harder to maneuver in tight stores

Safety Notes

Meets all ASTM and CPSC stroller safety standards. Always use the 5-point harness. Engage the parking brake on any slope. The bassinet is suitable for babies up to 20 lbs. Toddler seat holds up to 50 lbs.

Buying Guide Notes

If you're planning on having two kids, the Vista pays for itself versus buying two separate strollers. The Nuna DEMI Next is the closest competitor at a similar price. If you want UPPAbaby quality in a lighter package and don't need double conversion, look at the Cruz V2 instead. Buy during Nordstrom or Buy Buy Baby sales for the best deals.

Full Review

Yeah, the UPPAbaby Vista V2 is expensive. We're not going to pretend otherwise. But if you can swing it, this stroller does everything and does it really well. It comes with a full-size bassinet that's approved for overnight sleep, so you can use it from day one. The toddler seat faces forward or parent-facing. The one-handed fold is genuinely one-handed (not the "one-handed if you're also an octopus" kind). And here's the real selling point: it converts to a double stroller with add-on accessories if you have another kid. The suspension handles rough sidewalks and grass without rattling baby awake. The massive underseat basket fits a real diaper bag plus groceries. We've pushed ours through snow, sand, and cobblestones, and it handles all of it.
