Every segment of this bug does something different: crinkly wings, a squeaker body, textured teething rings, a peek-a-boo mirror, and knotted antennae for grabbing. It's like someone looked at a baby's sensory development checklist and crammed it all into one toy. The clip is strong enough to stay attached to a stroller canopy even when baby yanks on it. Our son discovered the crinkle wings at about 2 months and was obsessed. By 4 months he was grabbing the rings. By 6 months he'd found the squeaker and thought it was hilarious. The colors are high-contrast, which is great for young infant vision. It's machine washable (clip off the ring first), and you'll need to wash it because it goes in baby's mouth constantly. At under $12, every parent should have one of these clipped somewhere.
