Dr. Brown's bottles have been around forever, and there's a reason they keep showing up on every "best bottles" list. The internal vent system actually works. It channels air away from the milk so baby swallows less gas, which means less fussing and spit-up after feeds. Our son had terrible colic for the first two months, and switching to these made a noticeable difference within a couple of days. The Natural Flow nipple has a shape that works well for babies going back and forth between breast and bottle. They come in both standard and wide-neck options. Yes, there are extra parts to wash (the vent inserts add two more pieces per bottle), but if your baby is gassy or colicky, you won't care about the extra 30 seconds at the sink.
