Origami swaddling is a skill, and it's a skill nobody wants to practise at 2am on their fourth night home. Wrap swaddles like this one exist because a tired parent can do them correctly every time. Momcozy offer it in a bamboo and cotton blend or plain cotton, both OEKO-TEX certified, which matters mainly because it means the fabric has been tested for the chemicals you'd rather not have against a newborn. The brand is clear that this is a 0-3 month product and that's the right call, though the real end date isn't a date at all. It's the first sign of rolling, and that can arrive well before three months.

Safety Notes
Stop swaddling the moment your baby shows any sign of rolling, usually somewhere around 8 to 12 weeks. A swaddled baby who rolls onto their front cannot push back up. Swaddle firmly across the chest but leave the hips loose enough for the legs to bend up and out, since tight straight-leg wrapping is linked to hip dysplasia. Always place a swaddled baby on their back, and never add loose blankets on top.
