Ollie is the octopus of the range, and the arms are the point: they drape over a lap or around a shoulder in a way the rounder animals don't. Every Weighted Buddy is the same 1.5kg (3.2lb), so choosing between them is genuinely just about which animal your child takes to. The weight is what does the work: deep pressure is the same principle behind a weighted blanket, and children who seek pressure tend to notice the difference straight away. Warm Ollie in the microwave or chill in the freezer, so one toy covers a child who settles with heat and one who prefers cold. Two things to be straight about. It's $59 for a soft toy. And the weight makes it a supervised, awake-time object, not something to leave in a bed with a sleeping child.
