Our Full Review
This is the simplest idea in the range and one of the nicer ones. They're small printed notes you slip into a lunchbox or a backpack, so your child finds one partway through a day you're not part of. Starting preschool or daycare is exactly the moment this helps, because the hard bit isn't the drop-off, it's the middle of the morning. Non-readers still get the picture and the fact that you put it there. At $20 you're buying design and convenience over a sticky note, and honestly a sticky note works too. What you're really paying for is not having to think of something every morning.
What We Like
- Aimed at the part of the day you can't be there for
- Works before they can read, because the gesture carries it
- No routine to maintain, you just put one in
What Could Be Better
- A handwritten note costs nothing and means slightly more
- A finite pack, so it runs out
Safety Notes
Paper notes. Keep away from children who still mouth paper.
Buying Guide Notes
The obvious buy for a child starting preschool or daycare. Pair with the worry stones if separation is the specific problem you're solving.
