Francesca is the loudest-looking of the buddies, which is the whole appeal for a child who wants their comfort object to be a bit of a character. Every Weighted Buddy is the same 1.5kg (3.2lb), so choosing between them is genuinely just about which animal your child takes to. The weight is what does the work: deep pressure is the same principle behind a weighted blanket, and children who seek pressure tend to notice the difference straight away. Warm Francesca in the microwave or chill in the freezer, so one toy covers a child who settles with heat and one who prefers cold. Two things to be straight about. It's $59 for a soft toy. And the weight makes it a supervised, awake-time object, not something to leave in a bed with a sleeping child.
