The roller is the portable version of the same idea: a scent your child associates with calming down, in something small enough for a bag. That makes it the one to reach for at a birthday party that's gone too loud, or in a car before a dentist appointment. It's the cheapest item in the bath range at $12. The same age position applies as with the spray, and more so, because a roller goes on skin. Patch-test on a forearm and leave it a day before using it anywhere else, and keep it off hands that end up in mouths.
