Our Full Review

We've pushed the City Mini GT2 through cracked sidewalks, gravel trails, and that one park with the awful mulch paths, and it handles all of it without complaint. The forever-air rubber tires are the real standout here. They give you the feel of air-filled tires without the risk of flats (because nothing ruins a walk like a flat stroller tire two miles from home). The one-hand fold is genuinely quick. You pull the strap in the middle of the seat, and the whole thing collapses down. It's not the most compact fold, but it fits in most trunks without playing Tetris. The adjustable handlebar is a huge plus if you and your partner are different heights. My husband is 6'2" and I'm 5'4", and we both push it comfortably without hunching or reaching. The near-flat recline works from birth with the included adapter, though we'd still recommend a bassinet or infant car seat for the first few months. The canopy has a peek-a-boo window with a magnetic closure instead of velcro, so you won't wake a sleeping baby every time you check on them. It's a workhorse stroller that doesn't try to be fancy.

What We Like

  • Forever-air rubber tires handle all terrain and never go flat
  • One-hand fold is genuinely fast and works every time
  • Adjustable handlebar fits parents of all heights comfortably
  • Magnetic peek-a-boo window won't wake a sleeping baby like velcro does
  • Near-flat recline works from birth

What Could Be Better

  • Folded size is bulkier than umbrella strollers, takes up real trunk space
  • Underseat basket is smaller than competitors like the Vista V2
  • No included bassinet, you'll need to buy one separately or use a car seat adapter

Safety Notes

Meets all ASTM and CPSC stroller safety standards. Always engage the parking brake on slopes. Use the 5-point harness at all times. Suitable for children up to 65 lbs. Check all locking mechanisms before each use.

Buying Guide Notes

The GT2 sits between budget strollers and premium options like the UPPAbaby Vista. If you want all-terrain performance without spending $1000, this is the sweet spot. The standard City Mini (non-GT) is cheaper but has smaller wheels and less suspension. Compatible with most infant car seats via adapters sold separately.
